SHEARERS DISCHARGED
DEVELOPMENTS MAT FOLLOW.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) BLENHEIM, 23rd Nov. A position of interest to all woolgrowers throughout Now Zealand has arisen in a large woolshed in the Wairau Valley. Owing to wet weather, the sheep were considered by several shearers to be wet, and the owner and wool-classer considered the sheep dry enough for shearing. A complaint has been lodged with the Shearers' Union of the men having been discharged, and it has been stated through the official organ of that onion—the "New Zealand Worker" —that the matter has been taken up, and litigation will follow. The outcome is looked forward to with interest.
