COMPETITION ELIMINATED
EAILWAY TAKES OVER BUS SERVICES.
(By Telegraph.— Press Association.) NAPIEB, 23rd Nov. The Bailway Department representatives have concluded negotiations for taking ot.v the buses of the second company running parallel with the railway between Napier and Hastings. This step eliminates private competition. Tn>3 services have been in operation about a year, and have seriously affected the railway passenger traffic.
