PISTOL AT VERSAILLES TREATY

- PARIS, 20th October. The "Petit Parisien" describes the manifesto as a pistol pointed at the heart of the Versailles Treaty. "It is inspired," it says, "by a prominent British financial expert who never concealed his hostility to France."
