DE LUXE THEATRE.
"Tho Wanderer," the latest Biblical story to be picturised, is screening again this evoning at the De Luxe Theatre. It tolls of the adventures of the Prodigal Son and what happened to him in a busy city. The picture is particularly notablo for tho excellence of its settings, while tho cast is one of tho best that has been assembled for a considerable time. Ernest Torrence as tho prodigai1.. supported by William Collier and I'yrono Power, gives a delightful rendering or the life of a spendthrift w .nderer, while the women in the case, r>erso_ated by Greta Nissen, Kathleen Williams, anil Kathryn Hill, are all that one would expect in a story which devotes a great deal of its plot to love and riotous living. The Blanford railway disaster provides one of the subjects of the gazette. The comedy on the bill, "Three Wild Goofs," is a real laughter-maker, and the Orchestra De Luxe plays many delightful selections during the evening. "THE FLAMING FRONTIER." "The Flaming Frontier," a spectacular Universal production, will commence screening at the De Luxe Theatre on Friday at 8 o'clock with a matinee on Saturday afternoon at 2.30. This picture is a thrilling story of the early West, a tender love story, telling of, the real life of the daring men and women of the pioneer days. Thousands of Indians, cavalrymen, pony express riders, Western plainsmeu, pioneers, and camp followers, and tho glory and glamour of West Point in the 'seventies are shown. This picture is of more than unusual interest because of the fact that among the Indians taking part are scores of descendants of those who fought under Sitting Bull. In making this last stand against the whites Sitting Bull had I rallied to his cause some 10,000 redskins, the great tribes of the West allying themselves with the Sioux to make common war against the whites. The cast that is to be seen in "The Flaming Frontier" contains the names of men and women who have made themselves famous on screen and stage. Among them are Hoot Gibson, Anno Cornwall, Dustin Farnum, Ward Crane, Kathleen Key, Eddie Goodwin, George Fawcett, Charles French,' Noble Johnston, and others. A spectacular prologue will be staged nightly, the costumes and scenery having been specially imported. The assisting artist is Mrs. H. Dunn.
