UNITED BIBLE CLASSES SPORTS

The annual general meeting of the United Bible Classes Sports Committee was held recently, when the following were the officers for the coming year: President, Mr. B. Bruhn; vice-presid-ents, Messrs. B. Bose and V. Francis; secretary, Mr. G. H. "Wakelin; treasurer, Mr. Laurenson. The balance-sheet disclosed a small credit balance with which to commence the new year, and the sponsors of the movement felt very confident of further success this year. The committee is endeavouring to secure the use of Athletic Park for Saturday, tho 20th or 27th, November, when it is hoped to stage the second sports meeting. Tho same programme has been adopted, and an improved standard of competition is expected.
