"M The second quarter shoot for the Holcroft i's) shield concluded last week, and the holders' '■1 team (Mr. Beavls) had a close call and tied .■l with Mr. Spencer's team, with the neit team '.'■< two points behind. In the individual competlt<\ ti«n the shooting was exceptionally good, the y scores being much better than In the inter'A Jlub matches. The club champion for the !| quarter was Mr. Spencer, and he takes the "■'.] trophies for Ist and 2nd series, the handicap ■«j cup, and the Perkins Cup, which goes to the >3 highest gun score for the club. The Ladles' Gun »■ Score Cup (Worsfold) was won by Mrs. WanS nell, the Ladies' Handicap Cup by Miss .. Willis, the Ist series by Mrs. Wannell, and the !?; 2nd series by Miss Tunis. The Ladies' Points -':. Cup (Swindon) is a new competition, and was v won for the first time by Mrs. Skelton. The 1.. Skelton Memorial Cup (a new trophy) for the i; highest handicap score over two quarters, lady > J or man, was won by Mr. G. Millar. ;,' The prizes for euchre were Mrs. Tunk3 1, Mrs. *■_. Hoffelns 2.
