The Wellington Bugby Union's Management Committee uiet last evening, Mr. J. Prendeville occupying the chair. With regard to the- National Mutual Challenge Cup match to be played at Athletic Park next Saturday, it was decided that University'? challenge to meet the championship winners (Athlotic) be accepted, and that the charges of admission be the same as those made last Saturday, fifty per cent, of the proceeds to go to the. now grandstand fund. Advico was received from the Mana-watu-Horowhonud Union that the match with Wellington at Palmerston North next Saturday would commence at 2.45 p.m. Mr. Bevan would be the referee. It was derided that the following matches be played as curtain-raisers to the Athletic-University match at Athletic Park' next Saturday:—Old Boys (juniors) v. St. Patrick's (juniors), and Petone A (fifths) v. Old Boys (fifths). An alteration was made in the training arrangements for the Wellington representative teams, which were announced in "The Post" yesterday. The teams will now train at tho Oriental gymnasium to-morrow evening. The chairman announced that Dr. M'Evedy had received donations amounting to £1000 towards the now stand for Athletic Park, and had prospects of receiving further sums.
