WAIPAWA, This Day. Edward "Watts, the victim of the shooting incident at Otane, giving evidence at tho hospital, stated that he believed that his watch saved his life. The accused, Hori Ngatoro, fired at three yards range, and the shot entered his forearm and his loft side. The watch was shattered.

Tho accused was remanded for a week. Watts is making a good recovery.
