HUSBAND'S REVENGE ON WIFE

Mrs. Fountaino, one of the victims of the shooting tragedy at Bundaberg, when George Fountaine, a farmer, 26, shot his wife, their two daughters, and his father-in-law, H. Q-rahame, recently left her husband and brought their two young children to reside with her parents. Her husband visited her on Sunday night, and after a brief conversation commenced shooting. According to the police, Fountaine told them he bought the revolver, intending to shoot his wife and then himself, but was pre-~ vented from doing the latter, the weapon refusing to go off.
