KING'S THEATRE.
How do stage people live? That question is answered in "Pretty Ladies, an adaptation of the novel by Adela Rogers St. John, and Monta Bell's new Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer production, now at the King's Theatre. The story is based upon life on the musical comedy stage, and tells much about that glamorous existence. It is a story dealing with a woman starved for love, but surfeited with all material possessions. The leading roles are filled by Zasu Pitts and Tom Moore. Well selected music by the orchestra, together with a large film programme, is offered. The latest and greatest of amazing police dog pictures comes on Friday. It is "Wild Justice," a dramatic story of the lonely snowclad North country. It stars Peter The Great, the largest police dog on the screen and generally reputed to be unexcelled in intelligence. This new romance of the snows unfolds an exciting drama woven around a mysterious murder. An excellent supporting cast is a feature of the photoplay.
