PROTEST AGAINST ADMISSION.

Potato growers in the New England district of New South Wales are greatly concerned at the alleged danger which the importation of New Zealand potatoe. represents to the State. According to the "Herald," it is claimed that, in view of the fact that tho climatic conditions in New England and New Zealand are almost identical, tho diseases to which the tubers of the South Island aro subject will be introduced and flourish here. A large meeting of growers is being convened to protest against the admission of New Zealand potatoes.
