According to the "Herald," it is claimed that, in view of the fact that tho climatic conditions in New England and New Zealand are almost identical, tho diseases to which the tubers of the South Island aro subject will be introduced and flourish here. A large meeting of growers is being convened to protest against the admission of New Zealand potatoes.
