•Wellington has yet another cabaret, the Arcadian, which commenced its weekly sessions last Saturday evening. Judging by the number of couples nresent there is no doubt as to the success* of the opening night. The attractive little tables and chairs arranged around the ballroom and with the unique-, lighting effects created a cosy and cheery atmosphere. A special feature was the delightful music rendered by the orchestra. During the evening an exhibition dance was given by Miss flene Mascott-Taylor and partner. A dainty supper was servetL The cabaret will continue weekly.and guests are assured of a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
