(United Press Association.—Copyright.) PARIS, 3rd September. M. O. Lery, president of the French Rugby Federation, M. J. Laurent, secretary, and many English and French sportsmen, including Mr. C. J. Wray, New Zealand delegate on the English Rugby Union, welcomed the Maori team at Marseilles., W. Barclay, captain of the team, said that a match had been arranged at Marseilles on 12th September, which had not been included in the original programme. The team needed two months of hard training, and would then play a fast, open game, such as was intended in good football.
