A RAGGED CONTEST.
The game between Wesley and V.M.C.A. at Karori Park was fast, but decidedly uninspiring. On the whole, the Wesley players had the advantage, and showed more combination than their opponents, who, although responsible for some fast dashes, were unable to bring them to a successful conclusion. A very mediocre game ended with the scores:—Wesley 2, V.M.C.A. 0. The game was controlled by Mr. R. P. Staples.
