PETONE BEAT HUTT.
Hard hitting-out, and, on several occasions, rough play, were the most noticeable features of the Hutt-Petone match at Karori Park. The game was fast throughout, and many good opportunities were lost through over-eagerness. At half-time, the score was 1-all, and in the second spell Petone added another. The scorers were:— For Petone, F. Lindop and Morgan; for Hutt, Colton. Mr. K. Lloyd was the referee.
