A passenger by the Remuera from Southampton yesterday was,Mr. H. E. Fulford, C.M.G., 'of Melbourne, who has been on a. visit to Great Brit-sin. He was formerly for several years British Consul at Tlent Sin, China. Mr. Fulford was accompanied by Mrs. Fulford and Miss A. -D. Fulford. Mrs. Fulford did riot enjoy good health on the voyage out, and upon arrival yesterday was admitted to a private hospital. Captain J. Bono, who was for half a century in the employ of the New Zealand Shipping Company, latterly as shore master at Wellington, and who retired about a year ago, was among the passengers from Southampton hv the Remuera yesterday. Captain Bone, who was accompanied by Mrs. Bone, has been on • visit to Great Britain and Europe.
