DIVORCE PETITIONS

A number of petitions in divorce were dealt with by Mr. Justice MacGregor in the Supreme Court yesterday. Bridie Igoe sought a dissolution of her marriage with James Patrick Igoe on the grounds of desertion. A decree nisi was granted. Mr. Cleary appeared for the petitioner. A decree nisi was granted in the application of George Thomas Adams against Pauline Edith May Adams, on the grounds of adultery. Mr. Mellish represented the petitioner. An order for restitution of conjugal rights within one month was made on the application of Gladys Muriel Gertrude Esdaile against Edward Savile Lyall Esdaile. The parties were married in Wellington in December, 1924, and later resided in Auckland. The petitioner gave evidence to the effect that her husband did not want her. Mr. A. Dunn appeared for th« petitioner.
