V.M.C.A. GYMNASTIC CARNIVAL.
What is expected to be the best combination of gymnastic performers will be seen at the Grand Opera House on the 11th and 13th September, when the Y. gymnasium will stage its annual carnival. New numbers, together with new settings and costumes, are promised, and nothing has been left undone to make this year's dieplay a success. Parents will be afforded a chance to Bee what their children have learnt during the season, and from the opening curtain to the finale this wonderful machine of 350 performers will work with smoothness. An opportunity is being given to the Wellington public to show its appreciation of the work done by the V.M.C.A. physical department. His Excellency the Governor-General (Sir Charles Fergusson) has intimated his intention of being present on the opening night.
