So delighted are the Maoris at the Invitation to send a Rugby football team to tour France, that the Maori Advisory Board decided to present a Maori Carved Shield (of which the above is a photograph) to the French Rugby Federation. The presentation to the French authorities is being arranged by Sir Maui Pomare, on behalf of his people.
