VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION

♦ (By Telegraph.—Presj Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, 2nd Sept. Manning and Co., Ltd., brewers, are in voluntary liquidation. Mr. G-. Pengelly, the manager, has been appointed sole liquidator. The 'assets to be liquidated are of an estimated total value of £270,000. They consist of Government bonds, shares in New Zealand Breweries, and several mortgages. These assets are to be converted into cash as speedily as possible, and the proceeds distributed amon'3t the shareholders.
