HATAITAI HOUSE BURNT
1 Fire destroyed a five-roomed wooden house at 5, Zohrab street, Hataitai, at about 8 o'clock last evening. The house was occupied by Mr. C. A. Hanson and was owned by Mrs. J. M. Hanson of 52, Moxliam aveutie. When the Wellington South Fire Brigade arrived, the flames had such a strong hold that not even the most strenuous efforts could prevent the building from being destroyed. The house wa_ insured for £600 in the Phoenix Office.
