FRENCH CLUB
The fortnightly reunion of the Cercle Francais, held last night in the Pioneer Club Hall, was of special interest, an excellent programme arranged by Miss Eleanor Pharazyn being much enjoyed. Miss Pharazyn recounted her experiences in Constantinople. She speaks French fluently, and her discourse, given without notes, was a great success. An amusing playlet, "Je cais m'en aller," was read by Miss Pharazyn and Miss Ernestine Hadfield, and Mrs. Robertson sang. In the absence io£ Professor Boyd-Wilson Mme. Bendall presided, and Mme. Benge received.
