CHATHAM CUP PINAL TO-MORROW. The Now 'Zealand equivalent to the famous English cup which annually attracts 100,000 spectators will bo played to-morrow at 3 p.m. at tho Basin Roservo. This game, which decides tho champion, club team in Association football circles, is one that is sure to bo a good exposition, of the Soccer code. The contesting teams —North Shore (Auckland) and Sunnyside (Christchurch)— arrived this morning', and both are confident of victory. Tho North Shore team have brought a very strong combination, and many old faces will be seen, including Dacre, Jones, Palmer, Bradshaw, and Baxter. The Sunnyside team has included in its members several of thos__ who represented Canterbury against Wellington for the_ Football Association Trophy match a fortnight ago. In addition, A. Trotter will bo seen in action again. The ontries this year for tho Chatham Cup numbered 36, and included all the best club teams in New Zealand. The handsome trophy which was prosented by the personnel of H.M.S. Chatham carries eleven gold medals presented 'by the N.Z.F.A., and these, together with the cup, will be presonted by Sir Charles Statham,.
