ALLEGED FALSE PRETENCES
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) BLENHEIM, This Day. Alfred Scott (56), charged with obtaining on or about 13th August, . at Pongaroa £16 16s from Alfred Richard Leevers by moans of false pretences with intent to defraud, wa3 remanded to appear at Pahiatua on Sth September. Tho accused was arrested at Benopau at the head works of the Marlborough hydro-electric scheme.
