YOUNG MAN'S DEATH
An inquest was conducted by the Coroner (Mr. W. G. Riddell, S.M.) yesterday afternoon into the death of Herbert Whitbread, a single man, aged 24, who died in the Wellington Hospital on 27th August as the result of facial injuries received while working in A. and T. JBurt's foundry ■on 13th August. After hearing the evidence the Coroner's verdict was that deceased died from complications following injuries to his face. No blame was attachable to anyone.
