The first of the series of 1926-27 wool sales has commenced. Tlhe proceedings wore animated, the market opening with excited competition. Prices, compared with June rates, advanced 5 per cent, for all good combing wools showing quality. Other grades advanced from par to 5 per cent. Full and satisfactory" clearances were made. Greasy merino sold to 24|d per lb.
