ACCOUNTANTS' INSTITUTE
At the annual general meeting of the Incorporated Institute of Accountants, hold in Wellington on Friday, Mr. C. E. Webb, of Wellington, was elected president, and Mr. James Hogg, of Dunedin, vice-president for the ensuing year. Members of council were .elected as follows: —Messrs. D. R. Menzies (Wellington), A. M. Seaman (Auckland), A. O. Wilkinson (Christchurch), James Hogg (Dunedin), and E. J. Harvey (Blenheim). Mr. G. J. J. Fril was re-elected auditor. The following were admitted as associates of the institute: Messrs. D. Clark (Wellington), I. V. P. Daniell (Wellington), A. T. N. Goodhart (Christchurch), W. G. Hulston (Wellington), H. C. Kent (Christchurch), G. F. Lomas (Wanganui), H. V. Scott (Wellington), H. S. Striokett (Auckland), and W. J. Davies (Oamaru). Messrs. Will Appleton (Wellington) and P. N. Quartermain (Christchurch) were promoted from associate to fellow.
