NITRATES FOR AUCKLAND,
A charter has been arranged for the steamer Baron Murray, which arrived at Wellington in June last with cargo from East Canadian porti. The vessel is to load nitrates at Iquique, Chile, for Auckland and Australian ports.
ROYAL MAIL STEAMERS.
The Aorangi, which left Vancouver on 25th August, is due at Honolulu to-morrow, at Suva on 6th September, and at Auckland on 12th September She will leave for Sydney on Monday, 13th September. The Niagara, from Sydney, arrived at Auckland at fi a.m. yesterday, and was to lear» at 11 a.m. to-day for Vancouver, via ports. The Makura will leave Wellington at I p.m. to-day for Sydney in piace of the Maunganui.
The Tahiti left Wellington on the 17th August, Rarotonga on 21st August, and Papeete on 23rd August. She is due at San Francisco on 3rd September, and will leave on the return voyage on Bth September.
ISLANDS STEAMERS.
The Ngakuta, from Auckland, is due at Rarotonga on Thursday. She loads there and at Mauke, Mangaia, and Aitutaki for Auckland and Wellington. The Tofua left Apia at 4 pm. on Saturday for Suva and Auckland.
The Kawatiri will leave Sydney on the 7th Septenber for Lautoka, Suva, and Auckland.
MAHENO FBOM SYDNEY.
The Union Company's Intercolonial passenger steamer Maheno arrived in the stream shortly after 7 o'clock this morning from Sydney, and was berthed at Ko. 1 North Queen'i Wharf at D o'clock to discharge passengers, mails, and cargo. She left Sydney at noon on Friday, and moderate seas were encountered until yesterday, when a strong south-easterly wind sprang up. She brought the following passengers :—Saloon: Misses M. Brake, I. Ths Manuka Is expected to leave Melbourne to-morrow fer Wellington direct. She Is dv» here on Monday next, and will sail the following day for Melbourne, via Southern ports.
THE CORINTHIC.
The Shaw-Savill Company advises that the Corinthic, now discharging London cargo at Wellington, leaves here on Friday for Timarti to commence loading. She is due back at this port on loth September, and leave* hero on the 16th September for Auckland to complete. The Cormihic is timed to sail finally from the northern port at daylight on 23rd September for Southampon and London, via Panama.
COASTAL STEAMERS MOVEMENTS.
The Kahifca is due at Wellington on Thursday from Dunedin, and from here will proceed to Napier and Glsborne.
he Kairanga, with cargo from Melbourne, *;as to leave Auckland at 3 p.m. to-day for Wellington, where she is due on Friday. She will complete discharge at Lyttelton and CastleclifT.
The Kartigi was to have left Newcastle last night with coal for discharge at Wellington. The Komata and Kaimai are due at Wellig(on to-morrow from Westport and Greymoutn respectively.
The Totara leaves Wellington to-day for New Plymouth. She returns to this port, and will then proceed to Lyttelton. The Wingatui was to leave Dunedin last night for Bluff. She leaves the latter port on Wednesday for Wellington, Napier, and Auckland, via southern ports.
