NEW; ZEALAND TEAM!
Three prominent cricketers who will not be available for selection for the New Zealand team to meet the New South Wales team in the forthcoming Test_matches are J. Shepherd (Otago), R. W. Eountree (Auckland), and N. C Snedden (Auckland). Rountree was looked upori as a certainty for a place in the team on account of his fine quality as a wicketkeeper, and Shepherd's^ form has been good enough 'to suggest ■ that he would have probably been included. ' The New Zealand team this season is being chosen by JMr. K. H. Tucker, of Wellington.
