TAIHAPE, 24th, January. The North Island catch-as-catch-can wrestling championship, contested at the Xaihape Caledonian sports to-day, was won by Ike Robin (Napier), who defeated Brown (Auckland). In the final bout Brown sustained two broken ribs, ; and . could not meet Anderson (Palmerston North). The. latter agreed to divide second money Mr. J. B. Ferguson (Palaerston North) was judge.
