THEFT OF MONEY
■ An admission that she had stolen £9 from Mary Margaret Weigman was made by v a young womatf named Grace Reitbeagen, who appeared before Mr. E. Page, S.M., at the Magistrate's Court to-day. It was explained that the accused, a confectioner's assistant, had engaged two rooms at the house of the complainant, and had stolen the money during the absence of the owner. The defendant, who had a previous conviction for theft, was admitted to probation for two years, a condition being that she makes restitution within fourteen days. Mr. \V. E. Leicester appeared on the defendant's behalf.
