EFFECT ABROAD,IF LABOUR FAILS.

tri'BLISitSD. IN THE TIMES.) (Received 22nd January, noon.) LONDON, This Day. The Brussels correspondent of "The Times" says : "The Belgian Socialists, generally view the prospect of a. Labour Ministry in England .apprehensively. They have complete confidence'in v the political principles of the English Socjal-i-its, but- they feat- that a great part of. the programme may be sacrificed to obtain and retain the support of the Liberals. "The leaders of the Belgian Socialist Party consider the moment for seizing the reins of government badly. chosen. They are anxious lest the experiment in English Labour, if it fails, should prejudice the Socialist movement in other cpuntries, especially Belgium, where the.elections are due.in 1925."
