HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE.
The entertainment provided in the change of programme at His Majesty's Theatre of programme "was pleasing to a degree, and catered for all tastes. Con Moreni's Revue Company, which is still enjoying great popularity, presented another successful musical-cum-comical production, entitled "The Bandit." The play is set" in the troubled state of Mexico, and the fun waxes fast and furious as the action proceeds. Principal roles are filled by Will Kenny, Alex M'Alister, Ida Leggatt, Winnie Edgerton, Les Austin, Dan Weldon, and Con Moreni, all of whom succeed in getting the most out of their parts. The principal musical numbers are: "I Wish I Knew " "Come Out of the Shadows," "Keep Your Eye on Me," and "I Like Them Young." The members of the ballet sin<r and dance very attractively, and add the finishing touch to a bright show. On the vaudeville side Of the programme, Eosina Gordon, an accomplished mezzo soprano, made her first appearance, and achieved a notable success in several pleasing songs. Others who contributed to the success of the entertainment were ; Les Warton (coon comedian). Nat Hanley (entertainer at the piano). Will Hastings (musical comedian), and Fred Bluett (an accomplished character comedian). The programme will be repeated throughout tb,o week.
