CLAIMS OFiN OTAGO WALKER.
Further matters in connection with I^ew Zealand representation at the Australasian ■ amateur athletic. V championships, to be held at Hobart on 6th and 9th . February, were, dealt with at a special meeting of the Council of-the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association last evening. Mr. A. T. Davies occupied the chair, and others present were:- Messrs. A. B. Sievwright, 6;. C Mazengarb, K. Connop, F. Wilton' H Amos, and-V. Higo (hon. secretary).-.' The chairman'announced that he'ecuid not see his way,clear to accept the- position of manager of the team, and it .was deeidpd.that J. M'HoJm, .ana pf the chosen athletes, should take charge of "the team. Messrs. J. M'Holm and H. ii. Wilson were appointed to act as^delcgates at the biennial conference of .the Amateur Athletic Union of Australiaand 2\iew Zealand.
