STRONG FISCAL MEASURES
PARIS, 17th January. Fiscal measures embodied in the Bills adopted by the Finance Commission include an increase of 20 per cent, on all taxes, heavy increases in excise duties, and the imposition of severe penalties for default, also administrative reforms involving a saving of one milliard francs annually.
