"PRICES MUST GO UP"
Most of the soft goo"ds warehousemen oi New Zealand are stocktaking, states "The Post's" Dunedin correspondent. The indications are that when commercial activities are once more into their full stride, the warehousemen will be quite as busy as in former years, and probably on a somewhat higher scale of values. The best informed men say that prices must go up. One of the reasons given for that opinion is that wool is dear; another is that cotton follows wool in its ups and downs, and is likely to advance; and, moreover, the textile manufacturers at Home have not been prospering, s.-» they must demand enhanced prices or continue to suffer loss.
