Sir Philip Lloyd-Greame, on behalf of the Board of Trade, in presenting Captain Foster, skipper of the lost Travessa, .with a silver tea service, and Mr. Smith, chief officer, with a silver inkstand, said that the Trevessa epic would live as long as the British merchant service. Captain Foster, in replying, said that the crew owed their lives t 0 the Board of Trade lifeboat regulations.
