AUCKLAND, 20th January. The iresults of Saturday's games are as follow:—
University v. Ponsonby.—Ponsonby in the second innings played two men short. M'Lean made 38 not out, Wetheral 29, Broberg 22. Player took four tor A). University, in the firsb innings made 167 (Kelly 28, Winks 21, W Ganord 31, Goodwin 43, R. Ganord not out 27). Snedden nine for 76. In the second innings Taylor made 50, R Ganord 33, Bannister not out 31. University scored a three-point win. Eden v. Grafton.—Grafton in the first innings made 161 (E. Horspool 69 Finley not out 26). Bowling: Harvie took seven for 43, Cummings two for 20. In the second innings they made 167 for seven (Horspool 42, Pope 35 Alcott not out 38). Harvie took two for 41, Cooper two for 65, Cummings two for 23, Postles one for 8. Eden win on the first innings. _ North Shore v. Parnell.—North Shore m the second innings made 175 for sis wickets and then declared (Nettleton 65 R Prater 41, L. Dacre 22, C. Dacre 38). Somerville took three for 32, Aitken one for 43, Singelton one • for 34. Parnell in the first innings made 124 (Hemu s 22, M'Leod 20, V. Badeley 27 B. Badeley not out 17). Coates three for 3d, Scott five for 23, Woodroofe two for 8. In the second innings they made 132. (Scott-Clarke 31, Somerville 27) Woodroofe three for 22, Tonwsend Wo for 31. A two-point win for ' North Shore.
