MELBOURNE, 20th January. For the opening games of the Australasian tennis championships meeting the weather was fine. O'Hara Wood defeated Buckley, and Patterson beat Findlay in the singles, and in the doubles O'Hara Wood and Patterson beat Hone' and M'lnnes, while Thomas and Gurner defeated Heath and Henty.
