RAILWAY BOARD OF APPEAL

Owing to the death of Mr. C. R. Bell, the First Division of the Railway Service has at present no representative on the Railway Board of Appeal for the North Island, and an election to fill the vacancy will be held on 11th February. The following nominations have been received: John Carnachan (Otahuhu), L. L. E. Chapman (Whangarei), W. A. Finlayson (Wellington), F. E. Hunt (Ngahauranga), A. J. Johnson (Frankton Junction), V. R. J. Stanley (Rangataua), N. E. Whisker (Frankton Junction), and Albert Wylie (Palmerston North).
