BASKETBALL

A basket-ball match is to be played at Newtown Park on Wednesday evening between teams representing the G.P.O. and the Y.W.C.A. The former is graded as an A team, and the latter defeated the Chrisfcchurch Association team in October. The public should, therefore, be treated to a good exhibition of a game that is becoming very popular. Following are the teams: — Government Printing Office.—C. Armstrong (captain), T. Chepper, I. Hennessy, M. Johneton, V. Bolton, G. Martin, P. M'Clean, S. Douglas, A. Nicol.

Y.W.C.A.—D. Turner (captain), D. Butler, I. Campbell, B. M'Caully, E. Bell, E. MaoFarlane, M. Deslandes, C. Eothwell, U. Cadyre.
