WORSER BAY SWIMMING CARNIVAL

On Tuesday next, Anniversary Day, the Worser Bay Amateur Swimming and Life-saving Club is. holding its annual carnival, at Worser Bay. All the prominent swimmers are competing. In the life-saving competition' for .the Wahlers Cup eight teams have entered, and thJ3 event is timed to start at 11 in the morning. After luncheon there .will be a marching competition for life-saving teams, followed by a varied programme of swimming events. The children are being catered for with races on the beach and a sand castle-building competition. The services of the Miramar Brass Band and Redshaw's Marine Band have been obtained, and arrangements have been made for additional tram service to Seatonn, and the Eastbourne ferry boats will run to Seatoun and Karaka Bay.
