' Strong comment has been aroused by a 6cntence imposed by Mr. Watson, S.M., to-day, on a commercial traveller who picked up, a small parcel on a station platform and retained' it as a ]oke with his fellow travellers. Ho was sentenced to fourteen days' hard labour without the option of a fine. Representation is being made to the Minister of Justice. '
