The six-ton ketch Islander, with only Captain Pigeon aboard, has arrived from Los Angeles, after an adventurous trip; Captain Pidgcon is navigating tho 1 vessel single-handed on a voyage'which has already lasted eighteen months. Ho arrived via Suva and the New Hebrides and/is now returning to Los Angeles.
