THE MAGISTERIAL INQUIRY
It is expected that the Magisterial inquiry into the causes of the Main Trunk disaster will open in the course of the next few days. . The date has not yet been actually fixed, but it is anticipated that tho proceedings will commence almost immediately. It is probable that the preliminary sitting willbe held in Wellington.
