BOXING MATCH
Probably no contest of recent years has created quite the keen interest that is being shown in the meeting between Blackburn and Murray, which takes place at the Town Hall to-morrow night. While some of this is probably due to the large number of visitors attracted to the city by the Welcome Week festivities, there is no doubt that both Murray and Blackburn have established themselves as favourites with followers of the sport. The demand for seats has created-a record for the association. Holders of day-sale tickets will be given first selection of unreserved seats. In regard to the .tickets for back stalls, the accommodation is limited, and on present appearances the total tickets available will bo sold out in advance, in which case no tickets for that part of the house will be sold at the doors. The preliminaries are:—Power v. Burns, Brown v. Cotterill, Hassett v. Livingstone, and Jeffries v. Crowley. Mr. .E. Stewart will referee, and Messrs., Staples and Woods will be the judges.
