Mr. Mackinnon. will go to Washington in a few days to present his credentials, and will then visit the cotton and tobacco-growing areas to study the industries in order to advise the Australian Government concerning developments applicable to the ConnnonwealtJi. Afterwards Mr. Mackinnon will investigate other American rural industries offering opportunity for i,,t ro ductiou into Australia.
