EMPRESS THEATRE.

Two stars contend for popularity at tho Empress Theatre this week. "Max Lmd«r as the imperturbable D'Artagnan —or rather Dart-in-again—is responsible for a great amount of laughter in "The Thre'o Must-Get-Theirs." As D'Artagnan's father gave his son advice when he left home to "fight for country, king and queen, 30 the latest parent also gives his son advice, though somewhat different. His final words were: "Remember, sonny, there are three things worth fighting for—breakfast, dinner, and supper." And,carried out upon this theme, with a bit of the twentieth century tangled with the quaint old days of Pans, "The Three Muet-get-Theirs" makes a superb burlesque. Anita Stewart is the second star on the programme, in. "A Question 01 Honour, a powerful <Jrama enacted in the mountains. Apart from the plot there is awe-inspiring . scenery, huge trees, mountain lakes, and the mountains themselves, tipped by the clouds, affording a delightful background. The news film records the Oxford-Cambridge boat race, and the contest for the Grand National Steeplechase. Princess Mary is seen receiving New Zealand's gift. "The Empress orchestra adds to the delight of an excellent entertainment.
