General Botha, at a reception in Johannesburg, said he.had returned with but one object—to use all his powers to establish a larger co-operation, and strengthen and maintain the constitution of South Africa. The constitutional way was tho only way along which they should seek their future. All talk of the" Britisf.Parliament interfering in the internal affairs of the Union was unadulterated nonsense.
