Tamaki Steeplechase, of 300 soys, about two miles and a half.—Ulster, 10.13, 1; No Surrender, 9.7.- 2; Jacaranda, 9.10, 3. Scratched: Bore, Yellow and White. Won by two lengths and a half. Timo, smin 3sec.
Orakei Hurdles, of 250 soys; one mile and three-quarters.—Benzine, 9.5, 1.; Locheila, 10.9, 2; Signature, 9.5, 3. Scratched: Swastika. Won by a length. Time, omin 22sec.
York Welter Handicap, of 750 soys; one,mile.—Alteration, 10.7, 1; Meltchikoff, 9.0, 2; Paddington Green, 9.3, 3. All started. Won by a length. Time, lmin 43 l-ssec.
Winter Steeplechase, of '850 soys; about three miles.—Troublesome. 10.7, 1; Master Lupin, 12rC, 2; Tenacious, 10.3, 3. Scratched-Grafton Tot and Ulster. Won by five lengths. Timo, 6min 9sec. ■
